I am Sophie, the founder and principal clinician of SF Sports Therapy, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sports Therapy from London Metropolitan University. I have a lifelong passion for sports, particularly gymnastics, where I competed and coached for many years, I was naturally drawn into a career in sports therapy. My personal experience with physiotherapy has fueled my desire to help others overcome injuries and discomfort. I am dedicated to providing expert care, specialising in treating a variety of sports-related and common injuries, while offering my clients not only physical relief but also peace of mind. As a female sports therapist, I strive to create a welcoming environment for both men and women seeking recovery and well-being.
I'm Suzanne, with over 35 years experience in the aesthetic industry including the last 31years running a highly successful business here in Portmarnock village. My passion for anatomy and physiology started in my college days, and over time, I discovered Pilates as more than just a way to stay fit—it became life-changing for me. After struggling with back, neck, and shoulder pain caused by poor posture, osteoarthritis, and bulging discs, my consultant recommended Pilates. Though I had attended classes on and off, I decided to dive deeper into studying the practice. Understanding the principles and methodology transformed my Pilates practice, and over time, my pain disappeared, and I became stronger, more mobile, and more flexible.
Inspired by my own journey, I became a certified Pilates instructor to help others benefit in the same way. I focus on teaching the fundamentals—alignment, core connection, and breath—so my students can truly experience the transformative power of Pilates.
